WHYPAY? does not charge any of its users.
This means no charges made from WHYPAY? to conference organisers or any participants in conference calls.
In fact, we don't even have a way to charge our users because we don't have billing platform. We are also unable to add any additional set up fee, per minute costs or connection charges on the phone calls made by those who dial into a WHYPAY? conference. This isn't the same as other conference call services where 'service charges' in the form of 'pence per minute' rates are applied to the phone calls made during a conference call.
So what about the phone call itself? Will there be a charge from my phone provider?
- If you're on a UK network and you have inclusive minutes/calls available, your call to WHYPAY? will be FREE.
- The only charge you can ever receive for using the WHYPAY? service is from your phone network provider when you don't have any inclusive minutes.
Ofcom, the telecommunications regulator for the United Kingdom states it clearly...
"Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and must count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. These rules apply to calls from any type of line including mobile, BT, other fixed line or payphone."
WHYPAY? users should check with their phone network to find out if they have any inclusive minutes and to work out what their standard network rate is.
