Under Ofcom regulations, calls to 03 numbers must be included in the bundled minutes offered by any UK landline or mobile network operators. This applies to calls from any type of UK line, including mobiles, landlines and pay-phones.

  • If calls to landlines are included within your bundled minutes, then calls to WHYPAY? will be too, making the call FREE
  • If you do not have any bundled minutes, or exceed your minutes allowance, then calls to WHYPAY? will be charged by your provider (not by WHYPAY?) at your standard network rate

Note that the above rules apply to UK phone networks only.

Please check with your phone provider to confirm the details and conditions your minutes allowance. Some providers start charging the standard rate after a certain call duration (usually 1 hour). However many providers allow you to hang up and re-dial before you reach that point in order to avoid being charged, since they then see it as two separate calls.

What if I'm calling from outside the UK?

Calls made from outside of the UK will be subject to call charges levied by the participant's phone provider. Overseas participants should check with their provider regarding international dialling and any associated costs.

WHYPAY? does not place any of its own charges onto calls made to the service. The only charges participants can ever receive will be from their phone provider.
